Waterbeds With Tubes
The image above shows a dissected waterbed with tubes. You can see how the waterbed is made up of multiple tubes filled with water, rather than one single bladder filled with water, as most waterbeds have.
A big advantage of having a tube waterbed is the simple fact that they are much easier to handle, and to move.
Each individual tube can be removed separately. This means they are much easier to move and store, and also makes it easier to assemble and disassemble the waterbed. Even with water still in them, the tubes are much easier to handle and travel with to your new home or a different room in your existing abode.
You can fill a single tube anywhere it's convenient, and carry it to the room that contains your waterbed.
In other words, you don't have to fill it in the same room that you are going to have the waterbed in, as you would with a conventional waterbed.
For those of you out there who are concerned with the weight of a regular waterbed, tube waterbeds weigh less. The weight of a waterbed is not generally seen as a concern, especially if you factor in how houses and floors are built to take the weight of them, but if it does concern you, then having a waterbed with tubes is a great alternative.
Another interesting feature is the fact that you can adjust the firmness of your waterbed by using more or less water in any one or more of the individual tubes.
Your partner may enjoy more water (more firm), while you may enjoy less (more soft).
You can't get a more custom designed firmness, or lack of it, than you can with tubes.
