The original or traditional style waterbed consists mainly of a pedestal on which a wooden frame resides.
Unlike the early days of waterbeds, there is now a wide choice of mattresses available, from free flow mattresses to motion reduced mattresses.
Our wood frames come in quality pine or oak. Padded vinyl frames are also available, if you enjoy a more modern and contemporary look.
We carry basic waterbed pedestals, ornate bookcase waterbeds, beautiful headboard waterbeds, and specialized waterbed wall units.
Waterbed frames can come equipped with drawers, shelves, cabinets, mirrors, embedded lights, cubby doors, pullout shelves, and other various under-the-bed storage space.
The frame you choose can be plain or elegant, it's totally up to you, and it depends on what style you are most comfortable with.
When one is talking about waterbed frames, they are generally referencing the old style waterbeds, known as hardside waterbeds. Hardside waterbeds carry on the traditional look of the original waterbeds which are available with a variety of frames including pine or oak wood and are also available in a wide range of accessories including padded headboards, bookcase headboards, and can also include headboards with mirrors, shelves, cabinets and lighting.

Most waterbed frames don't come with the plywood decking, so you will need to buy the plywood decking at your local building supply or lumber yard.
