How Do I Purchase a Softside Waterbed Replacement Mattress?

Are you finding your current waterbed mattress is in need of a replacement?
Are you aware that our softside waterbed bladders are 10% thicker than the competition?

The first thing when choosing a softside waterbed replacement mattress is figuring out what size bed you have currently, then how tall (length) the mattress is, and finally what type of foam walls you have at present.
First measure the outside dimensions of your mattress. If you have foundations then just measure the size of your foundations.

Waterbed Replacement Sizes
These are all approximate sizes:
Twin 39x75 inches
Full 54x75 inches
Queen 60x80 inches
King is 76x80 inches
California King is 72x84 inches

Then measure the height of your foam rails (not the slope wall, the actual height of your side rails).
Then check to see if you have slope walls or straight walls.
You now have completed the first part of choosing your softside replacement mattress, and you should know the size and height of your foam walls, and also if you have straight walls or slope walls.

If you are still not sure then please call us at 1-800-428-7083, even on evenings and weekends. We are always available to answer any and all of your questions, to make your purchase of a waterbed replacement mattress easier.

Now you must decide if you want a single softside replacement mattress or dual softside replacement mattress and also if you want your new mattress to be full wave, semi wave, waveless, ultra-firm or ultra waveless.
A brief description of considerations for these aforementioned options:
A single waterbed mattress allows for only one person to sleep comfortably with a lot of room to spare. You will also feel the other person's wave movement when sleeping with someone else, unless you are sleeping with a dual waterbed mattress. Dual waterbed mattresses allow for separate firmness levels as well as separate heating controls, and almost completely remove the effects of sleeping with another individual.
You can actually call us and order different wave actions for each side of your mattress if you so choose. As mentioned, with dual waterbed mattresses you can have separate heaters so each partner can set their own temperature level.
As far as choosing the appropriate waterbed wave reduction and firmness, try and use the description of each mattress listed on this site to help you choose, it will be helpful.

Again, if you need our help please call 1-800-428-7083.
