The Trillium softside waterbed offers termendous value.The outer ticking is made of a high quality demask that won't stretch and lose it shape. The bladder is a 90% wave reduced model and is referred to as a shallowfill. Shallowfill bladders weigh less than half that of a traditional waterbed, and makes them easy to drain and fill. A thin sheet of mylar is stitched into the cover. This space age material reflects body heat back toward you, eliminating the need to heat the bed with electricity. Because the bed uses your own constant body heat, comfort is consistent and that clammy feeling that is sometimes associated with heated waterbeds is eliminated. Features and benifits. Patented mylar temperature barrier Unlike old fashioned style waterbeds, the trillium uses a spage age material stitched into the cover to reflect your own body heat back towards you. This incredible material allows for the bed to be heated without the use of electricity. Some times, with beds that have a regular heater, mold and mildew can grow under the cover. This occurs when the heaters settings have changed and condensation forms. With a mylar based heating system, this can not occur. Some people are sesitive to heated vinyl, and feel clammy and sticky with a waterbed heated with electricity. With mylar, the water is always at room temperature, and you are insulated from the water temperature by the patented mylar temperature barrier.

These foam rails are not glued together and are tightly wrapped to ensure rigidity and long life. A sloped design means more real sleeping area for you. Beware of foam rails that are not sloped and are very wide at the top. This will interfere with your total sleep surface.

With some deep fill models, the lighter person is puhed upward and is not level with their partner. The shallowfill also weighs about half the amount of traditional waterbed mattesses, and as a result is very quick and easy to fill and drain.Notice how the vinyl is generously cut. This ensures that the vinyl, and seams are not put under undo stress. Beware of bladders that have a tight look to them, as they tend to stretch over a period of time.
Split foundation No extra charge! With a split foundation, moving is a breeze! getting your bed around corners or into tight spots can be very difficult with a foundation that is not split in two. With a split foundation, the bed is stucturally stronger than a regular foundation. Warping and twisting are completely eliminated.
